OUR PARTNERS
Consultation with 48 industry colleagues – including Roland, Focusrite, Korg, Yamaha, Marshall, Fender, Solid State Logic, Avid, Ad Lib Audio, Total Solutions Group and others – has played an important part in shaping Resonance’s pioneering programme, blending vocational learning with academic rigour and research. We’re grateful for the input of our partners to our courses and extra curricular opportunities.
Many of them have prepared real-world practical assignments for our students. These will involve working both individually and as a group and, on completion, a presentation to the organisation concerned.
Challenges could include, amongst others:
- preparing a product demonstration
- composing, performing and recording a soundtrack for a short film
- creating sound effects for a radio production
- product testing and providing feedback
- organising an event.
Dudley Performing Arts
Resonance is also exploring a range of options with Dudley Performing Arts. DPA works with schools, colleges and the community throughout the borough to provide whole-class instrumental tuition, small group and individual lessons, a borough-wide singing strategy, school bands and orchestras, dance programmes, tailor-made projects, performance opportunities and Early Years provision. Collaborative opportunities with DPA could include work experience as a teacher, project leader and workshop practitioner.
