CAMPUS
The Resonance campus: music is in our blood.
Resonance is based at the Evolve Campus, part of the Dudley College of Technology estate, situated in the heart of Dudley Town Centre, just over half an hour from Birmingham City Centre. Featuring a combination of established and brand-new, purpose-built facilities that are outstanding, providing everything an ambitious musician, producer, composer, teacher and entrepreneur would need to excel in their studies.
Dudley is right at the heart of the Black Country, home to some of the most iconic musical legends of the last 50 years or so.
It’s a region that was the cradle of the industrial revolution in the 19th century, and that tradition of innovation, experimentation and individuality is alive and kicking today.
The rollcall of local artists, composers and performers will be recognisable to anyone with an interest in the last 50 years of music and popular culture. It’s renowned as the birthplace of heavy metal and has nurtured home-grown talents like Led Zeppelin, Slade, Judas Priest, ELO, Black Sabbath, UB40, The Moody Blues, Robert Plant, Roy Wood, Ozzy Osbourne, The Wonder Stuff, Pop Will Eat Itself, Goldie, Babylon Zoo, Ned’s Atomic Dustbin, Beverley Knight and Mark Willott, along with many others.
