Throughout the year, Resonance will be promoting a range of charitable and commercial courses, aimed at non-students and held mainly at weekends. These will include:
- What does this button do? A partnership with Roland, Korg, Yamaha, Nord and other manufacturers in helping customers maximise the use of technology.
- Weekend Warriors – in association with NAMM and the MIA.
- Songwriting for beginners
- Live sound for beginners
- Getting loopy – an introduction to vocal looping
- Theory for rock musicians
- Recording your song
- Introducing Dorico notation software
- Improvisation
Students registered with Resonance will have free access to these courses (unless otherwise stated).
During the summer break, the entire campus will host the Resonance International Summer School. This is currently in the planning stage, but there will be opportunities for Resonance students to be involved, either from a technical point of view, as a delegate, or as tutor support.
